Manhattan is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Lincoln County 14-12. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tigers have posted since September 20, 2024.

Among those leading the charge was Tyson Pavlik, who rushed for 95 yards, and also threw for 90 yards and one TD. Those 95 rushing yards gave him a new career-high.

Glasgow/Hinsdale/Nashua typically has all the answers at home, but on Saturday Three Forks proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 32-30 victory over the Scotties. Three Forks' win was all the more impressive since the Scotties were averaging only 13.42 points allowed on the season.

One reason for the win was Three Forks' imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Marcus Pestel was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.

Manhattan's record is now 11-0. As for Three Forks, their record now sits at 10-1.

Manhattan was able to grind out a solid victory over Three Forks in their previous matchup back in September, winning 28-20. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Reichman, who rushed for 93 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 149 yards and one TD.
