Chittenango is a perfect 5-0 against Jordan-Elbridge since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Bears will welcome the Eagles at 4:30 p.m. Chittenango is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last 12 games.
On Saturday, Chittenango got the win against Westhill by a conclusive 15-6. Considering the Bears have won ten games by more than six runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.
Lauren Machan made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She struck out 11 batters over seven innings while giving up six earned runs off ten hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in nine consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, MacKenna Palko was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high. Juli. Coon was another key player, going 4-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
Chittenango kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in nine consecutive contests.
Marcellus hit Jordan-Elbridge with a five-run first inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Eagles came up short against the Mustangs, falling 11-1. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Mustangs recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.
Jordan-Elbridge saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabella Jay, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.
Chittenango pushed their record up to 12-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.8 runs over those games. As for Jordan-Elbridge, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
Both Chittenango and Jordan-Elbridge just can't seem to miss. The Bears have been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 11.4 hits per game. However, it's not like Jordan-Elbridge struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 5.6 hits. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
