Liberty is a perfect 6-0 against Minarets since April of 2023 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Hawks will square off against the Mustangs at 5:30 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.
Liberty is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Parlier with a sharp 21-4 win on Wednesday. The Hawks haven't had any issues with the Panthers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Macie Webster and Careli Alvarado made a splash no matter where they played. On the mound, Webster tossed three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Meanwhile, Alvarado tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Webster has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances. At bat, Webster went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double, while Alvarado got on base in two of her three plate appearances with two runs. Those two runs gave Alvarado a new career-high.
In other batting news, Carly Jimenez and Leilah Uriarte did most of the damage at the plate: Jimenez went 3-for-5 with two triples, five RBI, and two runs, while Uriarte got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Uriarte continues to improve, besting her previous run total in each of the last three games she's played. Jewelyssa Rodriguez also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Liberty was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .514. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in four consecutive matchups.
Minarets came out on top against Yosemite on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run sixth inning. The Mustangs were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over the Badgers. Considering the Mustangs have won seven games by more than seven runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Addison Lafferty was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out eight batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off five hits (and not a single walk). Lafferty was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
In other batting news, Addy Nielsen was a standout: she got on base in three of her five plate appearances with two RBI and one run. Nadia Faysal was another key player, getting on base in two of her five plate appearances with three RBI.
Liberty's record now sits at 9-11. As for Minarets, their record is now 11-5.
Everything went Liberty's way against Minarets in their previous meeting back in April of 2025, as Liberty made off with a 13-1 win. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Mustangs have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
