Ellwood City stacked  a  ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. Everything went their way against the Quaker Valley Quakers as the Ellwood City Wolverine made off with  a  9-1 victory. The  win was familiar territory for Ellwood City who now have three in a row.
  Amber McQuistion spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in 11 consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Keira Rozanski was  excellent,  going 2-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Sara Schwarz, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run.
 Ellwood City's victory was  their third straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 13-2. As for Quaker Valley, they have  been struggling recently as they've  lost three of their last four matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record  this season.
