Kennedy has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. The Kennedy Crusaders and the Golder Panthers will round out the year against one another at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.
Two weeks ago, Kennedy ended up a good deal behind Perspectives-IIT/Joslin and lost 40-21.
Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 61-18, which was the final score in Golder's tilt against Morgan Park Academy on Wednesday. Golder has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kennedy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Golder, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.
Kennedy strolled past Golder in their previous matchup on December 2nd by a score of 37-22. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kennedy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
