After flying high against the Deerfield Beach Bucks last Friday, The Plantation Colonels came back down to earth. Plantation fell just short of Piper by a score of 24-21. It was the first time this season that Plantation let down their fans at home.
Plantation's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Piper, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.
Plantation will be playing at home against Western at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Western presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Plantation in Florida (Western is ranked 24th, while Plantation is ranked 112th). Piper does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
