After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Church Point, Iota was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Crowley Gent by a score of 21-8. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Gent: they've now won seven in a row.

Iota's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Crowley, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Iota will square off against Westlake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Crowley, they will take on Pine Prairie at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
