Carver High School of Engineering & Science can attribute much of their success to Tali Simpkins, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. Those 20 points set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Fareed Brown, who scored 12 points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Carver High School of Engineering & Science and bumps their season record up to 4-1. As for Olney, they bumped their record down to 1-6 with that loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
