Archbishop Riordan (San Francisco, Calif.) 28-10 on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a Sanfilippo touchdown run in the first quarter, the Bells led 21-3 at the half.
Zach Masoli made a difference for the Crusaders. The junior quarterback ran for one touchdown. He has now scored three touchdowns on the season.
Archbishop Riordan's lone touchdown came on a 3-yard run by Masoli in the fourth quarter.
A 56-0 Bellarmine victory was the result when the squads faced off last season.
The loss comes after Archbishop Riordan defeated Mission 35-14 last week. The loss snapped AR's 3-game winning streak. With the win BHS extended its winning streak to three games.
In a West Catholic game next week Bellarmine (3-1) takes on Archbishop Mitty, and Archbishop Riordan (3-1) will go up against Serra also in a West Catholic game.
