While Bangs's win against Ballinger wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Dragons narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Bearcats 7-5. The win was nothing new for the Dragons as they're now sitting on three straight.
Hunter Crowell was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off nine hits. Crowell was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in February.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Connor Bible, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances. Jaxon Duncan was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-5.
