Cannon County fell to Red Boiling Springs 0-14 the last time the two teams met; this time around, they exacted some revenge. Cannon County crushed Red Boiling Springs 47-6. Cannon County was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast. This was the first game for both teams, giving Cannon County a 1-0 record and starting Red Boiling Springs off at 0-1.
