Bowie came in at 19 in the state poll after placing at number 42 last week.
Martin was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from eighth to fourth in 5A Region I District 3.
Arlington's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Connor Huffman threw for 163 and one touchdown and Dontha Robinson had 96 yards receiving. On the ground Brandon Washington chipped in 181 yards. Billy Ingle helped Arlington's passing attack out by catching three balls for 27 yards.
The Colts' Huffman and Isaiah Baker have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Huffman has thrown for 450 yards this season, while Baker, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has nine catches for 156 yards. The Warriors' Kyle Hicks leads the league in rushing yards with 381.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Martin takes on Arlington. As it stands, Bob Wager's team is in fourth, while Scott Peach's team is in first.
Weatherford moved up to 664 from 753 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in 5A Region I District 3.
