The Meadows School scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Pinecrest Academy Sloan Canyon, posting a 57-18 win at home. The victory was just what The Meadows School needed coming off of a 50-14 loss in their prior matchup.
Tessa Lalanne was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kate Verdirame, who scored ten points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, Palo Verde faced Bishop Gorman in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Palo Verde was dealt a 52-13 loss at the hands of Bishop Gorman on Monday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Palo Verde has scored all season.
The Meadows School now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Palo Verde, their loss dropped their record down to 10-7.
