The Marlette Red Raiders scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They secured a 56-50 W over Peck. The victory was some much needed relief for Marlette as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Peck's loss came despite strong showings from Thomas West and Carsten Lieblang. West scored 16 points along with seven rebounds, while Lieblang scored 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. West scored a full 32% of Peck's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Cal Heiden, who scored ten points along with five rebounds.
Marlette's victory bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Peck, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
