Charleston Math & Science's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zion King, who scored 16 points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Michael Williams, who scored 13 points along with five steals and two blocks.
Charleston Math & Science pushed their record up to 9-7 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 66.5 points per game. As for Lowcountry Leadership, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-16.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Charleston Math & Science will square off against Burke at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Burke will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Lowcountry Leadership, they will head out on the road to take on Palmetto Scholars Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
