Despite the defeat, South Lenoir had strong showings from Katherine Thompson, who scored 12 points, and Gracie Tyndall, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds.
James Kenan found their leader in underclassman Y'Anna Rivers, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. Rivers is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. RonNyia Joyner was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
South Lenoir's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for James Kenan, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-4.
