Pike County is still winless after their game against New Brockton on Friday, but the team can take solace in the fact it was the closest they've come to winning. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 42-40 heartbreaker at the hands of the New Brockton Gamecocks. One positive for the Bulldogs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Pike County's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for New Brockton, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-11.

Pike County has already played their next contest (against Opp), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. New Brockton will challenge Straughn at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Straughn will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something New Brockton surely won't give up without a fight.
