The Trojans haven't had any issues with the Chiefs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive  victory against them.
 Seth Lingford made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  struck out nine batters over  four innings while giving up just one earned run off   one  hit. Those  nine  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with two  runs and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Brayden Phillips was a standout: he got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with four  RBI and one  run. Another player making a difference was  Connor Sickler, who  went 1-for-2 with two  stolen bases, two  runs,  and two  RBI.
 East Troy was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .381. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Big Foot only posted a  batting average of  .222.
 Martin Luther's win was  their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 7-0. Those  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for East Troy, their record now sits at 4-2.
