Founders Classical Academy waltzed into their match on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came out on top against IDEA Montopolis by a score of 65-57. The Archers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw IDEA Montopolis, too.

Founders Classical Academy's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Colton Jones, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 13 rebounds. What's more, Jones also posted a 64% field goal percentage, which is the highest he's achieved since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Caleb Kelly, who shot 40% from the field to rack up 21 points.

Founders Classical Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Founders Classical Academy pushed their record up to 21-6 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points over those games. As for IDEA Montopolis, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 26-7 record.

Founders Classical Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 60-43 defeat against Valor South Austin on the 1st. IDEA Montopolis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
