They really took it to Edmond North for the full four quarters, racking up a 50-14 victory at home. Considering Union has won seven matches by more than 20 points this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Union found their leader in underclassman Tayveon Parry, who rushed for 74 yards and three touchdowns on only six carries. Issac Covington was another key contributor, rushing for 64 yards and a touchdown.
Although Edmond North took the loss, they still got scores from Pryce Bender and Jace Lakin.
Union's victory was their 11th straight at home (dating back to last season), which pushed their record up to 9-1. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38.45 points. As for Edmond North, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.
Union will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mustang at 7:30 p.m. on November 17th. As for Edmond North, they will head out on the road to face off against Norman North at 7:00 p.m. on November 10th. Norman North presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Edmond North in Oklahoma (Norman North is ranked 14th, while Edmond North is ranked 67th).
