Soccer Recap: Western Hills' Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After low-scoring totals in their previous six contests, Western Hills brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They never let the Young Women's Leadership Academy Lady Owls onto the board and left with a 5-0 win on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Samantha J as she scored three goals for her team.

With the victory, Western Hills broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-7. As for Young Women's Leadership Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

It'll be Eastside v. Westside when Western Hills and Eastern Hills meet at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Young Women's Leadership Academy, they will challenge Dunbar at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
