In other batting news, Silas Stephens and Nikolas Ramirez did most of the damage at the plate: Stephens scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Ramirez scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-2. That run marked the first that Stephens scored this season.
Williams Field's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Dobson, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Monday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Dobson has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .575.
