Merit Preparatory Academy extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Michigan Draper. The Merit Preparatory Academy Knights simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Salt Lake Academy Griffins 71-44 thanks in part to Draper, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 13 points in addition to seven assists and seven steals. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.

The team also got some help courtesy of Drexton Hardy, who posted eight points and four steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points.

Despite the loss, Salt Lake Academy still got an impressive performance from Braylon Brock, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 boards. Brock is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least nine every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Elijah Johnson, who had nine points.

Merit Preparatory Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 45.5 points. As for Salt Lake Academy, they now have a losing record at 3-4.

Merit Preparatory Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 100-26 victory against Telos on the 10th. As for Salt Lake Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 49-32 win against Utah Military Academy - Camp Williams on the 10th.
