Vallivue scored a stunning upset when it knocked off Meridian, 44-39. At the time, the Warriors were ranked 21st in the state, while the Falcons were 38th.
The biggest upset of the week belonged to Vallivue, who took down 21st ranked Meridian, 44-39.
Borah's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Cole Skinner threw for 322 and three touchdowns and Justin Coburn had 142 yards receiving. On the ground Hunter Kenyon chipped in 172 yards. Kion Williams helped Borah's passing attack out by catching seven balls for 122 yards.
Emillo Trevino made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Lions fell to Capital. The 6-foot-1 defensive lineman recorded one fumble and racked up one sack.
Borah's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Lions feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Skinner has thrown for 2022 yards and 22 touchdowns this season, while Williams has 45 catches for 1001 yards. Kenyon leads the league in rushing with 1054 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Boise and Kip Crofts' team. The Braves enters the contest ranked 19th in the state, while the Warriors ranks 23rd.
Mountain View took down Eagle 48-22 last week, the largest margin of any game.
