Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Glens Falls

While Glens Falls's win against Lake George wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Black Bears had just enough and edged out the Lakers 9-7. Winning may never get old, but the Black Bears sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

The team relied heavily on Chace Davidson, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Steven Endieveri, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Glens Falls' victory bumped their record up to 6-3-1. As for Lake George, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Glens Falls will head out on the road to face off against Queensbury at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something the Black Bears surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lake George, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Whitehall at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
