They snuck past the Covenant Eagles with a 40-34 win. The 40-point effort marked Sugar Creek Christian Academy's lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Sugar Creek Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Will Salyers out in front who posted 15 points and eight boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which Salyers has scored at least a third of Sugar Creek Christian Academy's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Eli Long, who earned four points along with seven assists and three steals.

Sugar Creek Christian Academy's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Covenant, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-3.

Sugar Creek Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 81-54 loss against Ross County Christian Academy on the 25th. As for Covenant, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, an 84-44 victory against West Logan Christian Academy on the 25th.
