Baseball Recap: Joel Barlow Gets the Win

While Joel Barlow's victory against Lewis Mills wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Falcons skirted past the Spartans 10-9. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Kenny Esposito made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Esposito was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Gavin Maryott, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Connor Thomas, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.

Joel Barlow was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .382. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
