Hopefully Bible Baptist Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
Last Friday, Bible Baptist Christian came up short against North Georgia Christian Academy and fell 59-47. Bible Baptist Christian has not had much luck with North Georgia Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Despite their defeat, Bible Baptist Christian saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays. Logan Hamilton, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 12 rebounds, was perhaps the best of all. Hamilton has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last three times he's played. Ethan Black was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Victory Baptist scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Kings Way Christian School 66-28 on the road. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Victory Baptist.
Bible Baptist Christian's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3. As for Victory Baptist, their win bumped their record up to 5-6.
Everything came up roses for Bible Baptist Christian against Victory Baptist in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as the team secured a 62-32 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bible Baptist Christian since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
