There's no place like home for Cornerstone Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They blew past The Grove School Ravens 19-0 on Monday. Considering the Crusaders have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Lucas Gomez-Creguer made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Gomez-Creguer was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one triple. That triple marked the first that he hit this season.
In other batting news, Cornerstone Christian got a massive performance out of Jackson Kirby, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four hits gave Kirby a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alec O'Sullivan, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
