Southwest Legacy dropped down to 3-2 on Saturday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Lopez Lobos by a score of 2-1. The game marked the Titans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

As for Lopez, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win they have posted since September 7, 2024.

Jasmine Cortinas was nothing short of spectacular: she had 20 digs, 13 kills, and three aces. She is on a roll when it comes to kills, as she's now had five or more in each of the last 36 games she's played dating back to last season.

Southwest Legacy has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Sharyland on the 16th. As for Lopez, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial on the 16th.
