Oneonta extended the longest winning streak in 4A Region 6 this week by beating Fairview, 59-21. The victory was the seventh in a row for the team.
Douglas moved up to 251 from 295 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Eagles climbed the ranks as a result of losing to Houston County 36-7.
Locust Fork's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Hornets feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Geoffrey Bramblett has thrown for 1716 yards and 21 touchdowns this season, while Clay Smith has 37 catches for 656 yards. Bramblett also leads the league in rushing with 545 yards.
A big matchup in 4A Region 6 this week will be when Sardis takes on the Aggies. The Lions are currently in second, while Fairview is in third.
Oneonta took down George Redding Jr.'s team 59-21 last week, the largest margin of any game.
