After a string of five wins, the Sands Mustangs's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a hard 53-37 fall against All Saints Episcopal School. Sands has not had much luck with All Saints Episcopal School recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
All Saints Episcopal School got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Brady Lowe out in front who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Rohan Felton was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.
Sands' defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for All Saints Episcopal School, their win was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 17-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sands will be home for the holidays to greet Westbrook at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. All Saints Episcopal School will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wellman-Union on January 2, 2024.
