Hibbing came tearing into Saturday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 50.7 points) and they left with even more momentum. They enjoyed a cozy 76-60 win over the Zimmerman Thunder. While the Bluejackets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 4-22), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Hibbing's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Zimmerman, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-2.

Hibbing will take on Cloquet in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Zimmerman, they will be home for the holidays to greet St. Francis at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Zimmerman's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
