Becker's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Mitchell Soltau, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Sawyer Brown was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Zimmerman has not been sharp recently as the team has lost 12 of their last 16 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Becker, they now have a winning record of 11-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Zimmerman will take on Foley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Becker, they will be playing at home against Princeton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Princeton is coming into the game with eight straight losses on the road, meaning Becker will have to defend against a squad hungry for a victory.
