Two dominant in Jordyn Washington and Jordyn Reed are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Columbine Rebels will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Chatfield Chargers at 6:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Columbine is ranked 43rd, while Chatfield is ranked 35th).
Columbine suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Wednesday. They were dealt a 83-44 defeat at the hands of Valor Christian. Columbine was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 50-22.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Chatfield beat Arvada West 39-34 on Wednesday. The victory was just what Chatfield needed coming off of a 79-32 defeat in their prior game.
Columbine has been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season. As for Chatfield, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.
Columbine didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Chatfield when the teams last played back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 44-39 victory.
