The Four Corners Coyotes's game last Friday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They walked away with a 69-56 victory over Ridgeview Global Studies Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Kesh Harpal, who scored 35 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Joshua Barnes, who scored 14 points.
Ridgeview Global Studies Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Bryan Lopez, who scored 13 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Mehiel Charles, who scored 11 points.
Four Corners' win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-8. As for Ridgeview Global Studies Academy, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-8.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Four Corners will take on Varsity Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ridgeview Global Studies Academy, Ridgeview Global Studies Academy and Orlando Science will face off at 8:30 p.m. on January 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Orlando Science is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
