The Davidson Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 69-49 loss at the hands of Baker. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Davidson in their matchups with Baker: they've now lost seven in a row.
Leading Baker to victory were Dashawn Thomas and Desmond Williams. Thomas scored 17 points along with five rebounds, while Williams scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Parrias Baker, who scored eight points.
Davidson has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost seven of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season. As for Baker, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Davidson on the road again on Tuesday and play against Bryant at 7:30 p.m. on January 23rd. As for Baker, they will square off against Theodore at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Theodore will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 91st, while Baker is ranked 21st).
