Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Sumter). They came out on top against the Westwood Redhawks by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Sumter also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2015.

Alfredo Gutierrez and Alexander Krivejko scored all three of Sumter's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Sumter has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season. As for Westwood, their loss was their tenth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sumter will welcome Manning at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Sumter will be up against Manning's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.91 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Westwood, they will take on Airport at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Westwood are facing Airport at the right time seeing as Airport are stuck on an eight-game losing streak.
