Pace is a perfect 10-0 against Tate since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Patriots will head out on the road to challenge the Aggies at 6:30 p.m. Pace is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
Pace fell victim to Niceville and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 1-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Patriots' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Hannah DeMarcus spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on two hits and racked up 16 Ks. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than ten strikeouts in 16 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Pace saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Abby McLean, who went 1-for-3 with one double.
Tate not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since February 20th. They blew past Escambia 15-1.
Peyton Womack was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she pitched five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Womack was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.
In other batting news, Tate got a massive performance out of Kara Wine, who went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Jordyn Banks, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI.
Tate always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .553. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.
Tate has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.7 runs over those games. As for Pace, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-3.
Tate's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Thursday. Pace has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 15.5 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Tate, though, as they've been averaging only 3.6 strikeouts. Will Pace keep running through batters, or will the Aggies buck the trend?
Everything went Pace's way against Tate in their previous meeting back in February, as Pace made off with an 8-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
