Adding to the longest winning streak in SCISA 8-Man Region II (8 Man) this week, Wardlaw Academy beat Richard Winn Academy 60-27. The victory was the eighth in a row for the team.
Jefferson Davis Academy fell to Greenwood Christian 48-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
The Hawks' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Aidan Waters threw for 45 and 2 touchdowns and Najee Martin had 22 yards receiving. On the ground Caleb Hinzman chipped in 150 yards. Ben Pettit helped Greenwood Christian's passing attack out by catching 2 balls for 11 yards.

Hinzman was a passing and rushing force as Gary Gillion's team defeated Jefferson Davis Academy.
Leading the league in both passing and receiving yards, King Academy's Alex Berry and Blake Sauls have proven to be a lethal combination. 5-10 quarterback Berry has thrown for 985 yards this season, while Sauls has 18 catches for 410 yards. Hinzman from the Hawks leads the league in rushing with 1,016 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Greenwood Christian and Andrew Jackson Academy. The Hawks enters the game ranked 12th in the state, while the Confederates ranks ninth.
Greenwood Christian made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 1,024 from 1,148. The improvement was largely due to a 48-6 victory over Curt Ott's team last week.
