Volleyball Game Preview: First Baptist Academy vs. Calvary Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders

First Baptist Academy will square off against the Calvary Baptist Christian Academy Crusaders at 2:45 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

First Baptist Academy is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Mulberry Grove just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell just short of the Aces by a score of 2-1. While First Baptist Academy didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating Mulberry Grove 25-19 in the first set.

First Baptist Academy started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 25-18, 25-17.

Calvary Baptist Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road on Monday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell 2-0 to First Baptist Christian.

The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-14.

First Baptist Academy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Calvary Baptist Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
