Several Wolverines players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jahlil Loyd, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Judah Lancaster, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Tolleson has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season. As for Valley Vista, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-11.
