After two games on the road, Spring is heading back home. They will take on the Eisenhower Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the pair posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Spring posted their biggest win yet this season on Tuesday. They blew past Aldine 72-29 on the road. Given Spring's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 305th, while Aldine is ranked 1164th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Spring's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cedric Richardson, who scored nine points along with six assists and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Paul White, who scored 11 points along with eight rebounds.
Meanwhile, Eisenhower scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They managed a 96-92 victory over MacArthur. The victory was just what Eisenhower needed coming off of a 67-37 loss in their prior matchup.
Spring's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-13. As for Eisenhower, their victory ended a 11-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-21.
Spring skirted past Eisenhower 69-66 in their previous meeting on January 3rd. Does Spring have another victory up their sleeve, or will Eisenhower turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
