The Boulder City Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 86-34 victory over Doral Academy Red Rock at home. The result was nothing new for Boulder City, who have now won seven contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
It was another big night for Sean Pendleton, who scored 25 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Those 25 points set a new season-high mark for him. Roman Rose was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with four steals.
Boulder City's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2. As for Doral Academy Red Rock, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-9.
Boulder City won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Moapa Valley at 6:30 p.m. on January 5th. Moapa Valley will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nevada Rankings (they are ranked 88th, while Boulder City is ranked 17th). Doral Academy Red Rock's road trip will continue as they head out to face The Meadows School at 6:30 p.m. on January 11th.
