It was a good run, but the Okawville Rockets unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They had to suffer through a rough 55-28 loss at the hands of Nashville. Okawville was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Nashville apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Okawville's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Madisyn Wienstroer, who scored 9 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alayna Kraus, who scored 11 points.
Okawville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-1. As for Nashville, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Okawville will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Woodlawn at 6:15 p.m. Hopefully Woodlawn focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Saturday. As for Nashville, they will head out on the road to face off against Anna-Jonesboro at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
