Mounds View scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the East Ridge Raptors by a score of 72-70. The Mustangs have struggled against the Raptors recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Mounds View's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-1. As for East Ridge, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Mounds View will take on New Richmond in a holiday battle at at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. New Richmond knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Mounds View likes a good challenge. East Ridge and Cretin-Derham Hall will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
