It was a good run, but the Tapestry Charter Titans unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 54-42 to Howard. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Tapestry Charter of the 41-40 loss they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
Howard's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Keegan Roberts, who scored 29 points along with six rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Roberts has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Miles Kardian, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 18 rebounds.
Tapestry Charter's defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-5. As for Howard, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tapestry Charter will challenge the Knights at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Howard, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the at 6:30 p.m. on February 2nd.
