Maury had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 16-run drubbing they dealt Lake Taylor on Tuesday. The Commodores never let the Titans get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory. The Commodores might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by ten runs or more this season.

Maury's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Lake Taylor, they are on a 23-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-11.
