There's no place like home for the Wahoo Warriors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road  last Saturday. They claimed a resounding  50-23 win over Platteview at home. The  contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Wahoo had established  a  25 point advantage.
 Wahoo was led to victory by  Sidney Smart and  Gretchen Seagren.  Smart  scored 18 points along with seven  rebounds and three  steals, while  Seagren  scored 15 points along with six  rebounds and four  blocks. Seagren is on a roll when it comes to  blocks, as she's  now  posted two or more in the last eight games she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Teagan Watts, who  scored six points.
 Wahoo now  has a winning record of 10-9. As for Platteview, their defeat was  their fifth straight on the road, which  dropped their record down to 10-9.
 Wahoo will  face off against Plattsmouth at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Hopefully Wahoo focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 18 on Tuesday. As for Platteview, they will head out on the road to  take on  Douglas County West at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Douglas County West is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 54.8  points per game this season.
