The Burncoat Patriots entered their tilt with the Southbridge Pioneers with three consecutive wins dating back to last season but they'll enter their next game with four. Burncoat blew past Southbridge 72-45 on the road. With Burncoat ahead 47-19 at the half, the game was all but over already.
Among those leading the charge was Cheyton Marshall, who scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Jayden Mwangi, who scored 13 points.
Burncoat pushed their record up to 2-0 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Southbridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.
Burncoat will be home for the holidays to greet University Park at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Southbridge, they will head out on the road to face off against Bartlett at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
